Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine web applications using AI-powered development tools (e.g., Cursor AI) to optimise private equity end-to-end deal flow.

  • Utilise prompt engineering and user interface (UI) design to create seamless, data-driven applications.

  • Collaborate with investment professionals to understand business needs and translate them into functional applications.

  • Implement and test AI-driven solutions for automating key workflows in deal origination, due diligence, and portfolio management.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications for performance and scalability.

  • Stay updated on emerging AI-assisted coding tools and best practices in web development.

Qualifications:

  • You must be currently enrolled at university pursuing a degree in a field related to the role.

  • Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

We are seeking a highly motivated Private Equity Analyst Intern to join our team and play a key role in deal sourcing and evaluation. You will work closely with senior professionals, gaining hands-on experience in the investment process and exposure to business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct industry research and identify investment opportunities.

  • Build target lists using databases, online research, and our in-house deal management platform.

  • Engage business owners and CEOs through calls, emails, and LinkedIn while leveraging our internal tools.

  • Develop relationships, assess acquisition interest, qualify deals against investment criteria, and present findings.

  • Analyse industry trends, business strategies, and financials.
